Our response to the Coronavirus Disease 2019
As the country is re-opening and the weather is warming up, we want to provide a few important updates based upon the re-opening phases established by the federal government.
Our current visitation guidelines remain in place. Visits to senior living communities remain prohibited. The only exceptions for this are end-of-life situations and essential personnel. We understand how difficult this is for both our residents and families. We want you to know that the we have already started planning for when restrictions are changed so that we can accommodate future visits.
To ensure you stay connected with your loved one, it is our pleasure to schedule Skype, FaceTime and Zoom calls. If you would like to set up a video chat with your loved one, please contact your community Lifestyles Director to set up a time. The Director can be reached at anytime by contacting the community.
Although the way we conduct activities in our communities has changed, it has been great to see and hear residents continuing to stay active in creative ways. Whether a sing-along, completing a challenging crossword puzzle, enjoying a strolling musician outdoors or listing to Recliner Radio®, our Life Enrichment team stays busy making sure all residents are engaged! As well, our Dining team is proud to continue to offer delicious entrée selections each day via room service.
Again, we know that this continues to be a trying time. We look forward to when all restrictions are lifted. When this happens, we will warmly welcome visitors and offer additional group activity and dining options. Until that time, stay well and stay positive!
