Award-Winning Author and Dementia Caregiving Presenter Mary Ann Drummond Presents “Meet Me Where I Am” Sessions for Senior Care Residents and Families
ORLANDO, Fla. — Feb. 10, 2023 As an extension of the company’s signature program Meet Me Where I Am, Bridge Senior Living today announced seven of their senior communities will host dementia educator, speaker, and award-winning author Mary Ann Drummond for a series of free public information sessions from February. 22 to March 15.
The sessions will take place in conjunction with in-house memory care awareness and training, as well as special community sessions intended for EMT, fire and rescue, or law enforcement personnel from some of the local communities where Bridge Senior Living operates.
With over 30 years of nursing experience and as a seasoned senior living executive developing programs for dementia care, Drummond is the author of Meet Me Where I Am—An Alzheimer’s Care Guide as well as I Choose to Remember and Grandma and Me—A Kid’s Guide for Alzheimer’s and Dementia. She brings to Bridge Senior Living team members and residents/families an array of resources including innovative and successful strategies for caregivers assisting individuals with dementia.
