Senior living community management change and rebrand part of a large-scale renovation and company’s first entry into The Lone Star State
Irving, Texas — August 31, 2023 — Bridge Senior Living today announced a signature addition to its community management portfolio — expanding into Texas for the first time.
Washington Pointe Las Colinas (“Washinton Pointe”) at 1295 Kinwest Pkwy. in Irving, Texas, has become the newest community in Bridge Senior Living’s growing portfolio. Formerly known as MacArthur Hills, the transition to Bridge Senior Living’s management, and renaming to Washinton Pointe, underscores Bridge’s commitment to the City of Irving, whose founders named the town for the popular American author Washington Irving.
“We decided to expand our portfolio into North Dallas to enhance quality senior living options in Irving,” said Bridge Senior Living Chief Operations Officer Robert Goyette. “As with each Bridge Senior Living community, our team members at Washington Pointe will inspire and engage each resident to live their best life.”
In joining the Bridge Senior Living portfolio, Washington Pointe will continue to provide senior living and care options to existing and future residents throughout North Dallas. It will offer a mixture of independent living, assisted living, and memory care lifestyles. Independent living residences are comprised of single-story two-bedroom, two-bath villas equipped with a full-size kitchen, living and dining space, washer and dryer, and a one-car garage.
Assisted Living and Memory Care residences sit in the main community building. Each lifestyle offers one-bedroom/one-bath and studio apartments with a host of amenities and services built to address each resident’s individual needs.
The campus is going through a large-scale refurbishment to modernize the community with more intentional common open spaces, upscale finishings, and designs suited for residents of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
“The investment in Washington Pointe is vital to our residents, current and future,” said Nicol Smith, Community Executive Director. “Our commitment to helping older adults live their best life is unparalleled, and we look forward to re-introducing this community to the North Dallas market and the residents of Las Colinas.”
Washington Pointe is a short distance from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and easily accessible to the Lyndon B Johnson Freeway, and the President George Bush Turnpike. Residents and their families can enjoy shopping, grocery stores, and restaurants in the neighborhood, or they can take advantage of nearby golf, nature preserves, the Sam Houston Trail Park, and all Las Colinas has to offer.
Washington Pointe marks the second new community to transition to Bridge Senior Living’s management this year. Earlier this year, Bridge Senior Living added The Carlisle in Lantana, Florida, marking the Orlando-based senior care company’s entry into South Florida.
